The site does not currently offer user accounts, comments, checkout, or an on-site contact form. The hosting provider may process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and time of request for security, reliability, and diagnostics.

If you email the editorial desk, the message, address, and attachments are used to respond, investigate a correction, or maintain a record of the request. Do not send sensitive personal, financial, or animal-health information.

Amazon and other external sites have their own cookies, identifiers, and privacy practices. When you follow an affiliate link, the destination may recognize the referral so a qualifying purchase can be attributed. Review the destination policy before using that service.

BackYardCoopTech uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and site performance. Its standard implementation collects usage and session statistics, approximate location, and browser and device information. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including _ga cookies, to distinguish users and sessions. Google may process an IP address during collection to derive coarse location information and discards the raw address before it is logged. These reports help identify useful pages and technical problems. This site does not load Google advertising tags. You can limit this collection by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser. Google processes analytics information under its privacy policy.
